Project Overview
EC Scaffolding was appointed by D&D Roofing to provide safe and reliable scaffolding access at The Edinburgh Academy Senior School on Henderson Row in Edinburgh.
The project involved a programme of external works, including roof replacement, fascia refurbishment, painting and general maintenance. With several different elements of work taking place across the building, the scaffold needed to provide practical access for the roofing and maintenance teams while maintaining a strong focus on site safety.
Careful planning was important due to the nature of the site and the range of trades requiring access. Our team designed the scaffold around the areas being worked on, providing secure working platforms and suitable access to the roofline, fascias and external elevations.
Execution
Our team installed the scaffolding with close attention to detail, ensuring the structure provided safe and practical access for D&D Roofing throughout the project.
The scaffold supported the roof replacement works while also allowing contractors to reach the fascias for refurbishment and painting. It was also used for additional general maintenance works around the property, helping to provide one coordinated access solution for several parts of the project.

Reliability was equally important. We worked closely with the contractor to ensure the scaffolding was available when required and suited the different stages of the refurbishment programme.
